Nursing Home Neglect

All too often, disabled individuals or senior citizens are neglected in nursing homes throughout Ohio and the mid-West due to the following:

  • Lack of appropriate staffing and attention

  • Failure to attend to patient needs such as basic feeding, hydration, ambulation, etc

  • Failure to protect skin integrity and turn bed-bound patients, resulting in terrible skin and muscle tissue ulcers, causing sepsis

  • Sepsis and infection-related treatment

  • Injuries or death due to traumas from falls.
